All of us have been affected in some way by this current situation, some more than others, but there is hope on the horizon. We, along with the whole nation, wish to pay tribute to NHS staff and many others in essential services who selflessly serve others.
Now is not the time to panic or lose heart, rather to look to a brighter future that will, no doubt, unfold.
There are many changes that are occurring which, after this ‘lock-down’ has ended, will no doubt remain changed. Ways of working, ways of meeting and a deeper appreciation of family, friends and colleagues.
Your Pension and Investment Funds
The Pensions Regulator (TPR) is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, and working collaboratively with government, regulators and other bodies to assess the most immediate risks to pension schemes.
There is some great information from the Pension Advisory Service which offers generic guidance on pension issues, both defined benefit and define contribution schemes which is well worth a read.
Just to assure you, we are in regular communication with funds managers and we continue to review your pension and investment funds.
