‘Change is here to stay’, as they say, and that should not make us anxious.
Change is an essential part of life and fundamental to growth and health.
As the old year ends and the new one begins, with its unknown twists and turns, we will be approaching it with a balance of optimism and caution.
As for life in general, I recall that, as children, opening the door in the morning to a generous covering of snow, it was with glee that we donned out outdoor gear and gum boots and raced into the deepest drifts to make our mark on the virgin white fields before us.
No-one had been there before and it was so special.
No-one has been into 2017 yet, so let’s make it a good one.
